Red Wing Singers
The Red Wing Singers present their annual concert. This year they are featuring special guests bluegrass band Monroe Crossing.
For the first portion of the concert Red Wing singers will perform some traditional bluegrass/ gospel numbers, such as "Wayfaring Stranger", "Down to the river to Pray", and "Talk about Suffering". Followed by a solo concert from Monroe Crossing.
Stay for the amazing second half as Red Wing Singers and Monroe Crossing performance The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass. Brilliantly executed by composer Carol Barnett and librettist Marisha Chamberlain, The World Beloved blends the classical mass, modern choral sophistication, touching poetry and traditional bluegrass instrumentation into an exhilarating musical experience.
