Motor skills are the movement skills that we learn throughout our lives and are essentially creative in nature. While our bodies are "instinctually" and autonomously tuned to respond to situations at hand, we are also equipped to “design” our movements in highly sophisticated and “intentful” ways.
Dance represents a practiced approach to the design of movement and ballet engages artists / athletes at the highest levels of physical demand. With James Sewell Ballet’s BODY MIND WELLNESS program, "intentful movement" is accessible, fun, and beneficial to physical and mental well being.

James Sewell is the Co-founder, Artistic Director, and Choreographer of James Sewell Ballet. Since 1982, James has choreographed more than 50 ballets, including nine for which he composed the music. The New York Times has described James as one of the most innovative choreographers working today.
