The House Manager performs lead work that ensures successful conduct of events at the Sheldon Theatre including, but not limited to, opening the building, front of house preparation, determining appropriate curtain times in communication with the Audience Services Manager, meeting and greeting groups, public speaking, volunteer staff supervision, patron supervision, front of house supervision, closing up the building and other related duties as required. The Production Technician operates back stage systems including but not limited to lighting, sound, orchestra pit lift, and fly rail. Work includes preparatory work for lighting, sound and stage rigging, loading in, setting-up and loading out shows, and running sound and lighting systems during events.
