Experience Healthy Communication Through Laughter
Communication skills are the foundation of lasting relationships and the building blocks of a thriving community. So what does laughter have to do with learning? EVERYTHING!
Stevie Ray’s Skills For Life Project teaches communication skills that apply to real-world challenges: conflict resolution, job interviews, landlord issues, teamwork and leadership. Stevie teaches these skills through the art of Improv Games and for the past year he’s been in Red Wing teaching these skills to community members. Stevie Ray is a master comedian, corporate trainer and nationally syndicated columnist. He helps professionals reach the next stage in their development, employees reach their next stage of teamwork, and companies reach their next stage of growth. He will serve as the MC for the Showcase.
The Minnesota State Arts Board gave a grant to HOPE Coalition to “use the artistic process” for a year to improve lives and build communication skills for clients and the general public, free of charge. Come and laugh as you learn what workshop participants learned and why. Members of Stevie Ray’s Improv Troupe will join your friends and neighbors on stage.
Purchase tickets online, by phone or at the Sheldon Box Office. VIP tickets must be purchased directly from HOPE Coalition (email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 651-388-9360 ext. 5).
