Trish Cook is a Red Laker with roots in South Minneapolis. Trish has been entertaining audiences for years with her humor and expressive storytelling. In addition to her individual performances Trish is a third of the nationally recognized Ojibwe Comedy Trio, NDN Way Comedy. Trish enjoys the humor of daily life including family, friends, dating, and work while deferring to her Native roots and culture. Trish has a talent for making the mundane hilarious and the painful palatable. Trish is a fast-paced comedian who charms crowds with her wit and self-effacing relatability.
Jim Ruel, Bay Mills Ojibwe, is comedian/filmmaker/writer/actor from Wisconsin. He has been performing at comedy clubs, colleges, and tribal casinos for over 20 years. In 2004, he was chosen by the NBC’s Diversity Talent search to perform a standup comedy showcase in Hollywood which opened the door for his television appearances on Showtime, the BBC, Comedy Central, First Nations Experience, and PBS. He has written, performed, and produced a number of digital shorts that have appeared on Youtube, Buzzfeed, Funny or Die, and Channel101. He served as lead production coordinator for the Southern California Indian Center’s Intertribal Entertainment Program where he has produced multiple corporate videos and the feature film Four Quarters. He was co-host of the Hollywood NDNz podcast. He currently runs Frybread Productions, a Native video production company. He resides in Los Angeles with his girlfriend and daughter.
Rob “Rez Reporter” Fairbanks, a Comedian best known as the “Rez Reporter” from the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. He was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN and now resides on the Leech Lake Reservation with his family. In 2014, his social media videos, the “Rez Report”, went viral and opened the door for him to start his stand up comedy career. He’s traveled across the United States doing stand comedy, opened up for many comedians and performed at multiple comedy clubs.
