Thomas X, an accomplished Native hip-hop artist from the Red Lake Nation in Northern Minnesota, has embarked on a remarkable journey in his career. Originating as part of Rez Rap Records, Thomas X has flourished into a formidable solo artist, captivating audiences with his distinctive style and profound lyrics.
Beyond his music, Thomas X contributes to his community by serving on the Red Lake School board. His commitment to education reflects his dedication to uplift and empower the youth of his tribe.
In addition, Thomas X serves as the Executive Director of the Red Lake Boys and Girls Club, further solidifying his commitment to the well-being and development of the community’s youth.
A true community builder, Thomas X annually organizes The Motherland Block Party and concert on the reservation, featuring national acts. This event not only provides entertainment but also serves as a platform to showcase and celebrate Hip-Hop and the rich cultural heritage of the Red Lake Nation.
Thomas X’s impact extends beyond his music, education initiatives, and youth involvement. With hundreds of thousands of views on his videos across various platforms, he has garnered a widespread and diverse fan base.
