Prices vary by show, and are listed on each individual event page. Most events have a Price A and Price B, based on seating location. Other events have only one price, while others have three or more levels. Select performances incorporate table seating next to the stage, and may also include a standing room section along the main floor sides. Accessible seating sections are marked.
Kids Play Free
Free admission for a child, 14 and under, with the purchase of a regular priced adult admission to most Family and Youth Series events plus many family-friendly performances throughout the season. Look for the Kids Play Free indication on each individual event page. Select code “Play” when ordering online, or indicate KPF when ordering at the box office.
Select events have a VIP option, at a slightly higher price than section A. VIP pricing includes: premium seating, VIP only reception with artists appearing as their schedules allow); light appetizers at reception, and a drink ticket good for any beverage.
Season Package Discount
Save 10%, 15% or 20% when purchasing a season package custom designed by you. Packages may only be purchased during the designated time period.
Savings of 10% on groups of 15 – 24, and 15% on groups of 25+ people. Find out more about group benefits and how to order here.
The Sheldon may make coupon codes available periodically. Such discounts have expiration dates, and never apply to previously purchased tickets.
General Ticketing Policies
For shows cancelled due to COVID-19, ticket holders have 14 days past show date to request exchanges. After 14 days, any unresolved tickets will automatically be refunded.
An order processing fee of 10.5% will be added on all purchases at the time of sale. Season package buyers do not pay order processing fees on their package tickets, but additional tickets purchased outside the package are subject to regular processing fees. Be advised that a historic preservation fee is included in the published ticket price. Order processing fees are always non-refundable.

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.
Leaving Single Seats
Where possible, please choose seats adjacent to reserved seats. The Box Office may request that you move down one seat to accommodate as many pairs as possible. We reserve the right to move reserved seats.
Refunds and Exchanges
Tickets are non-refundable. Patrons may exchange tickets or request a gift certificate at least 72 hours prior to performance. Season Package holders may do the same if requested at least 24 hours prior to performance.
No refunds on donations.
In the case of inclement weather, most shows will go on as scheduled. The Sheldon encourages patrons to make the right choices for your circumstances, understanding that ticket purchases are non-refundable, and may only be exchanged subject to the Sheldon’s regular exchange policies. In the extremely rare occurrence of a show’s cancellation, patrons will be alerted via email, social media, and the Sheldon website.
Discounts May Not Apply
Premier events are not eligible for discounts of any kind. Some events produced by local partners, or other outside users, are not eligible as part of season packages. These include but are not limited to: Sheldon Brass Band Concerts, Red Wing High School Musical, and Strings, Winds and Brass.

Schedule, prices, times, artists and titles are subject to change or cancellation.
Tickets can be mailed for a $2/order handling fee. Free delivery options include in-person purchases, will call, and print at home.
Third Party Sellers
Please only purchase tickets from the Sheldon box office or the online portal accessed through this website. If you purchase tickets from a third party, we cannot guarantee authenticity.
Reserved seating begins 30 minutes prior to curtain. As a courtesy to audience members and performers, latecomers will be seated during appropriate breaks and at the sole discretion of theatre staff.
Patrons are asked to silence or turn off electronic devices during performances.
Flash photography, audio, and video recording are prohibited.
Food and Beverage
Food and beverage purchased at the Sheldon’s concessions stand are allowed in the theatre. Outside food and beverages are prohibited.
All patrons must have a ticket, lap seats are not available. It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to research and judge the content of a performance as appropriate for their child’s age and level of maturity. There is no official rating system for live performances. In general Family & Youth Series events and those marked as Kids Play Free are considered appropriate for all ages, and generally best for ages 5+ depending on a child’s individual attention span. For all other events, there may be language, adult content, or other material that some parents may not find appropriate for their children.
Any person who disturbs the performance or another patron will be asked to leave the theatre without a refund.
